Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at Jubilee

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
         and his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall commend your works to another,

and shall declare your mighty acts. - Psalm 145:3-4

The youth ministry at Jubilee Baptist Church is part of our church's commitment to pass the Truth to every generation. In it, students from 7th grade through college are set on a trajectory for a lifetime of faithfulness.

Ours is a discipleship ministry that encourages students to:

  • Know and love Jesus and His Word
  • Know and love each other
  • Walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit
  • Serve people eagerly and gladly

You can find more information about our upcoming events by visiting our Church's event calendar. You can also follow our youth ministry on social media.

Weekly Events

Sunday School

This is the most foundational program in our youth ministry as well as the primary point of contact with out students. Gifted teachers and adult leaders provide a Christ-centered, Biblical education while building genuine relationships with their students. Sunday school begins each Sunday at 10:15 a.m.

Youth Worship

On Wednesday nights, we worship together led by a live band and inspirational, Bible-based preaching. This dynamic mid-week gathering is an important time for students to respond to God for the work He is doing in their lives. Youth worship begins each Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the youth room.

Disciple Now Weekends

During this annual, at-home retreat our students spend the weekend submerged in study, worship, and service led by very special guests.

Summer Camp

Our most active season of ministry is highlighted by our trip to youth camp. This time away helps our students to focus on God and experience His presence uniquely.

Girls' Retreat

This is a very meaningful time of ministry in which the ladies of our church encourage their younger counterparts.

Family-Building

In numerous events throughout the year, we foster a sense of community through fun. These include trips to see the Braves and raft the whitewater of the Ocoee, Joe Beastie’s Old School Skate Party at Hot Wheels, the BOO! for Halloween costume contest, Tortuga Mini Gold nights, and so much more. Event details will be posted on our website and on our social media pages.

Guatemala Missions

The culminating experience of this youth ministry is an overseas mission trip for qualifying upperclassmen to get a glimpse of all that God is doing in the world. We work among communities on the Pacific Coast of Guatemala.
